Term 3. Week 8. Year 6. Italian.

Buongiorno ragazzi,

Come stai?

Today we are going to celebrate Father’s day, ” La Festa del Papa`. You are going to learn some beautiful phrases to express your affection and appreciation for your father.

Did you know that in Italy, Father’s Day is celebrated on Saint Joseph’s day  ( La Festa di San Giuseppe) on the 19th of March.

Saint Joseph was Mary’s husband and looked after her and baby Jesus. He was a carpenter and a very good man.

He was known for his endless love and devotion to God and his  family. In Italy he is known as San Giuseppe.
