  • Your knee
  • Your elbow
  • Your left thumb
  • Your forehead

ACTIVITY:

Drama Activity:

Remember these characters from the movie Inside Out

We can all see by their facial expressions how they feel, we don’t have to hear what someone is saying to know how they feel.

Can you show with your best facial expressions, the emotion of each character.

Sadness

Joy

Fear

Disgust

Anger

Can you make up a little role play where something happens and you show all of these emotions without saying any words or making any sounds. Just use your facial expressions and body language.  (Miming)

We call this a Miming Improvisation.

For example: You are playing basketball, (and you are feeling happy)  the ball goes over the fence (this makes you sad)

What do you think could happen next that makes you angry or disgusted or confused.

You can use this example or you might have another creative idea that you could come up with.  I’m sure you are feeling lots of different emotions at the moment.

How can your role play be resolved so that you end up like Joy and smiling again.

Just be creative and have fun with this one. If you have access and want to upload something to me via email you can.  Otherwise just have fun with your imaginations. .
