Warm Up: Choose a Just Dance from the Just Dance tab at the Performing Arts Learning Space. I chose SUMMER today, that was a good workout.

PLEASE NOTE: If any of you have any work or links to send me, you can upload anything you like to Seesaw  and put it in the “Specialists” or Performing Arts Folder . You can also send an email  to  (npenza@stgeorgepreca.catholic.edu.au) if that is easier.

The rhythm stick activity below was one of the last lessons we shared together and some of you may not have been there.  Once again we are looking at rhythm.  Have you got any buckets, sticks, chopsticks, spoons or anything else at home that you could possibly use to follow these rhythms.

Which rhythm is your favourite?

Can you create your own rhythmic pattern that still goes with the beat.

Ok. Last week you created your own song patterns. The ones I saw were great. Well done.

This week you get to create your own rhythms. Click on the link below to take you to Rhythm Maker.

Click on this link to take you to chrome lab  – Rhythm Maker.

I’m sure you’ll have a lot of fun with this too. Use the arrows to choose your character and drum kit.

Try to create a rhythm that you can try yourself.

If you have this playing repetitively, how could you move to it with your rhythm sticks (like they do in the video above)

If you’d like to take some video or a photo of what you are using or some moves you have created, please share them with me via email.

Here’s a video of me and some of my rhythms I made for year 1’s and 2’s…. 🙂

Enjoy making rhythms Year 3! I look forward to hearing from you.
