Australian Performers
In week 2, you got to choose an artist of your choice. This week you are to choose any Australian performer that you would like to choose.
This performer does not have to be a singer, they can be an actor or maybe even a stand up comedian.
Here’s a list of a few you might choose. You can also choose one that you are going to sketch for Mrs Velardi.
John Farnham, Guy Sebastian, Kylie Minogue, Olivia Newton John, Delta Goodrem, Christine Anu, Jessica Mauboy, Hugh Jackman, Nicole Kidman, Chris Hemsworth, Tina Arena, Missy Higgins…. and there are many many more.
Please record your answers in a document on your chrome books.
Who did you choose
- What is their name?
- What was the reason you chose to research this Australian Performer?
- How does this person perform? (sing, act, etc)
- How did this persons performing journey begin, and in what year did this happen?
- How did they discover their talent?(What or who inspired their journey?)
- Make a list of at least 5 songs or movies that this performer appears in?
- Out of this list, does this performer have a most well known song or movie?
- If you could interview this person, what would be one question you would want to ask them.
- What genre is this performer best known for? For instance, 1980’s Music, Rock n Roll, Comedy or Action movies ?
- Does this performer still perform today?
