Today you are going to be reading Up in a Tree. Remember when reading to take a breath at the full stops. Try to sound out words you are unsure of, and use the pictures in the story to also help you. Remember to use your eyes to read, not your finger.

• Why do you think Hugs wont come down the tree?
• At the end of the story Meg wont come from the tree either. Why do you think she wanted to stay up there ?
