Monday

Teacher video: Watch and listen to Miss Toro’s instructions for todays lesson.

Task:

Step 1: Make your page into a 2×2 grid (4 equal boxes using the whole page)

Step 2: Completing the boxes

  1. Pick a character, write their name and draw them
  2. Add adjectives into sentences to describe the character 
  3. What does the character like to do
  4. How does the character interact with others

Task:

    1. Write the title: What makes a good friend.
    2. Draw a picture of what a “friend” would look like to you in the middle of the page.
    3. And add 3 sentences about what makes a good friend. 

    Sentence Starter:

    What makes a good friend is…..

    OR

    A good friends is when…..

    Or

    I can be a good friend when

The first part of your task today is to complete this Opposites sheet

  • Draw a line between each word and its opposite
  • After, you are to write your own ‘Charlie and Pearl’ mini book about your family
  • Try to use conjunctions to add more detail! – but, however, while, in comparison
  • E.g. While Mr Said likes sport because he can run around outside,. Ms Penza likes to sing inside.
  • You could use some of the words from the Opposites sheet!

Your task is to make your very own rainbow fish that you can bring back to school next week to display in our classrooms.

  • Each scale you make has to have a drawing or a word that is something you can share with others back in our classroom and at school. It can be something physical or something you can share within yourself.
