Week 10 Science Fun
Posted onHi Parents,
During week 10 from 9-9:30am I will be doing some simple science experiments with the students. The experiments will begin on Tuesday 15th September. If your child would like to participate by making the experiment at home they will require the following resources:
- food dye
- vinegar (white)
- bi-carb soda
- ice blocks
- small piece of string
- salt
- sugar
- small candle
Remember this is optional and if you don’t have the resources then your child can watch from my screen. I will post a photo on See-Saw each morning to show the resources required for that day.
Have a lovely weekend,
Thank you
Abbey Dean.
Timetables
Posted onHi Parents,
I have made some minor adjustments to the weekly timetables. There are now two specialist sessions a week in the afternoon block on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The other afternoons students are required to complete 20 minutes of Studyladder and 20 minutes of wordshark. Please remember these tasks should be completed independently by your child. After school, we ask that students read one book from Wushka and complete the quiz. Of course, if your child wants to read an additional book from their home library, they are more than welcome!
Thank you for your ongoing support,
Abbey

Week 5 Show and Tell Roster
Posted onDear Parents,
Next week your child is invited to show their pet for show and tell. For those children who don’t have a pet, they can draw a pet they would choose, give it a name and share why they would like that pet.Â
Obviously children who are on-site (at school) can bring a photo as they are unable to take their pet to school.
Thanks,
Have a lovely weekend!

Fun Friday- Pyjama Day
Posted onHi Parents,
This Friday (7/8/20) we would like the students to enjoy their home learning experience so we thought that it’d be a nice idea if they work in their pyjamas for the day!
If your child is attending school (onsite) they can take their pyjamas in their backpack and put the top over their uniform for the morning roll call.
Thanks for all your support,
Abbey Dean
Friendly Reminders
Posted onHi Parents of 2D,
I am very proud of all the children last week and how they handled online learning.
Please just remind your child to come online at 9am, 10:15am and 11:30am each day so I can briefly run through each session and answer any questions they may have regarding the learning task. Many students have already been amazing at logging in at these times.
Before I send students off to complete the set tasks, I will read out the students who are to remain online to work in my group. These are located on 2D Timetable.
Thank you for a wonderful first week,
I am looking forward to teaching your child online,
Kind Regards,
Abbey Dean.
