Palgate app

Happy hump day!

You may or may not have noticed that new gates have now appeared on the Palgate app.

Rear gate is the gate behind the Macpac

Internal gate is the gate next to First Aid

They operate the same way as the sliding gate and boom gate. Just press the button next to the gate you wish to open on your Palgate app. After 30 seconds of no activity across the beam of the gate, it will close automatically.

If you need to keep the gate open for a period of time (eg. start of school/end of school day) hold your finger down on the button and a pop up message will appear asking if you want to latch the gate – click ok and the gate will stay open until you close it. Once the gate has been latched, the lock icon next to that gate on the app will turn orange. Repeat the same to unlatch.

The permissions have all been set by RED Security who are now our Palgate operators for all of the automated gates. By the end of this week we should have access to the platform so we can set our own schedule so the gates to open and close automatically at the appropriate times. Until then, let me know if there are any access issues and I will flag them with RED Security.

The Front gate will also appear on your app. This gate is not in operation – this is part of the future landscape plan to create the school entry opposite the admin office. It does not have a SIM card and will not work.

Have a great day

Deb
