Today you are going to write a plan about 3 things that you did on your holidays. 

For each of your highlights you are to include colourful semantics within your sentence. This will help you when you are writing your recount about your holidays tomorrow.

No group today as all students will complete the warm as a pre-assessment, please let students do themselves. If they don’t know, cant write or draw anything about symmetry that is okay, note this and can put this on seesaw.

You are to write the word Symmetry in your books.

Then you are to draw and write all the things you already know about Symmetry.

Task 1:

You are to create your own anchor chart with a definition of symmetry and an example. 

Task 2:

Fold a piece of paper in half vertically and then another horizontally, draw a pattern or shape onto it, cut it out, unfold and see the folded line of symmetry.

Do this 3 times and create a different pattern or shape each time
