Speech Pathology

Hi all,

Welcome to the Speech Pathology page of the Learning Diversity blog! You may have seen me in meetings, around the school or working with your child and/or their classroom teachers to support their learning, and I look forward to this continuing.

On this page you will find links to:

Colourful Semantics = an approach used to help our students develop their writing skills, sentence structures andĀ  comprehension/understanding of texts.

Oral Language activities = designed to develop and build on our students skills to help them become effective communicators, understand basic concepts relating to tasks, increase vocabulary etc – all of which are foundation to becoming effective readers, as well as their overall learning abilities.

Phonological Awareness activities = designed to build on and develop the foundational skills required for reading.

Other resources, activities and games that you may like to do with your child.

Over the course of online learning, these pages will be updated frequently with new information/activities to complete to support your child’s learning.
