I think it tells me you can do a lot of things in tesser travel, like… somehow they ended up in a 2D planet which is impossible, of course. It also tells me you have to be more careful because Charles said that Mrs Which (I think) nearly killed them be making a silly mistake.

Some of the famous people mentioned fighting the dark thing are musicians or famous people that most people know about. I’m thinking that one thing that they have in common is they don’t live on earth anymore. I don’t really understand why they would be fighting the dark thing because they’re famous people but Meg’s father isn’t. I don’t really understand this, it just doesn’t make sense for me.

Yes, the children do learn about the dark thing, so then what’s the question? Well, the children learn what exactly it is.

I don’t really understand what the dark thing is because they didn’t use much words to describe it. I only know that it’s a big evil thing that’s very dark and grey and that it’s attacking earth. I’m just roughly guessing that it’s an alien.

I fell the same as liara it helps her under stand what shes saying and it also it is easier for her.

I would be really shocked and confused at the same time because it’s on a different planet and I’m only 11 so for me to be going to another planet is really big and I would almost not believe it. Meg and Charles Wallace want to find their father and they are determined to find him so they’ll do anything to do so.

I think he went because he wasn’t feeling right at home with his family and when he met Meg and Charles Wallace he liked them and felt connected. He wanted to experience this journey with them and help them find their father.

I wrote in my mind map that meg was stubborn and can only trust some people. And also she wants to see her dad again. And also she is very unpatient.

Mrs Who Likes to quote because it helps herself communicate with the children it helps her understand more. On the other hand I don’t think it’s that helpful for the children. Just because she’s just quoting different languages every time and translating so it is a bit confusing.

I think he went because he doesn’t really have any where else to go because his family doesn’t like him and doesn’t treat him well.

I would feel excited but also scared because we were leaving earth and that was the only planet I have been to.

Terrified. I would not know where I was going or what it was going to be like. I would hold onto a pole and not let go. On the other hand if I knew I was a 100% safe then I may have been a little more excited than nervous.
