In Year Prep we will commence the term learning the Primary Colours (yellow-giallo, red-rosso, blue-blu) in Italian linked in with Art.  Students will listen to and view the song ‘Impara i colori con gli amici pesciolini’ ‘Learn the colours with your Fish Friends.’

Students can  sing along with the song and create some corresponding actions.

With an adult students can then walk around the house and find objects of these colours and say the colour aloud.

Students can then create a mobile by drawing a yellow, red and blue fish and labelling them in Italian on the back. Students can add more fish and colours if they like. These can then be attached to the paper chains created in the Art lesson.
