Weeks 1-4

Year 5 students will commence the term  learning about the country of Italy and revising Italian through Languages online Italian  https://www.education.vic.gov.au/languagesonline/italian/italian.htm

 

Students to view video. Prepare a quiz recording questions and answers in your workbook. Then copy onto cardboard or paper.

Select three of the following to also complete, take a photograph of and post on See Saw:

Prepare and record a role play with siblings/family members using your questions and answers from your quiz.

Create a board game using facts from the video.

Create a diorama to show your learning .

Represent your learning in a painting/illustration with labels/key points.

Make a book showing your learning.

Create a comic strip showing your learning.

Create a postcard.

Draw the Italian flag writing the significance of each colour. Draw a map of Italy showing the capital city and cities/landmarks mentioned in the video.

Create a game writing detailed instructions on how to play using information you have learnt from the video.

After completing 3 of the above activities please write a reflection of your learning in your workbook .
