Information in preparation for next week:
Shrove Tuesday: Parents and Helpers will be distributing pikelets(to those who have purchased). Please spend some time discussing why Christians do this. Link for further information on this here.
Ash Wednesday: 5/6’s to the church 11:15am and back between 1:15 and 1:30 approximately. You will be receiving a purple prayer cloth, candle and the Project Compassion resources this afternoon for next week. If you’d like information on the liturgical seasons and colours, here is a quick read, also good for the children. Ash Wednesday Liturgy has been posted for the Prep – Year 4’s.
