Thank you to everyone who has completed the ICT User Agreement and the Social Media Policy sign offs… however, I still have over 30 staff who have not completed these forms.

A big thank you to those of you that came in to help look after the ‘girls’ over the Christmas holidays. The girls are certainly very happy and they laid a total of 183 eggs over the break which I hope those of you that got them enjoyed using them. Now that we are back I am selling the eggs like I did last year for $2 (until inflation hits!) for a six pack of fresh eggs. I will put the eggs in the fridge in the staff room as I get them with a jar for your money but please don’t take any eggs without putting your ‘donation’ in the jar, no IOU’s. If you want to order a pack just catch up with me and give me your $2 and I will put your name on them and leave them in the fridge. Also a thank you if you watered our little olive tree, I am still crossing my fingers that we might still get a few olives.

Also if I have any veggies I will leave them in the fridge and just put ‘donation’ in the egg money jar, also I will put out some dried herbs and seeds out occasionally for you to buy.

ALL THE MONEY GOES TOAWRDS PAYING FOR THE CHOOK PELLETS AND MULCH IN THE COOP AND I HAVE PAID CASH FOR SOME ALREADY, SO THANKS.

Hi everyone,

I’ve received a few messages asking about the setup of student accounts for our online subscriptions – so just wanted to clarify this with you all.

The Admin Account does all of the setup for students and teachers. Please DO NOT make accounts for students or add classes etc. As soon as the classes are ready, you will either receive an email notification from the software subscription or I will email you to let you know that you are ready to go.

Hi everyone,

Apologies for interrupting your break, but wanted to let everyone know that the Administrator account will be setting all Classes for Class Dojo, Hapara, EdAlive etc this week so PLEASE DO NOT make any accounts, classes etc. of your own.

Once this is done, we will start rolling out the information to families so that they can roll over into the new structure. As soon as the setup goes live, I will post up a new message to let you know 🙂

Thanks again to all the chook helpers but I forgot to remind you that you are more than welcome to herbs and veggies growing in Geoff’s Patch. If the veggies don’t get picked they will just waste away. Last Saturday when I was in I filled a bucket with tomatoes, zucchini and Lebanese cucumbers and more again today. There will be some beans and squash coming along soon. So if you do have a look under the netting PLEASE make sure you hook the netting back down.

Thank you everybody that has been in to help with the chooks. They are certainly happy and laying plenty of eggs. I was in today and one of the food containers was nearly empty and one of the water containers WAS empty. The water has probably been disappearing because it has been so hot and the GIRLS are thirsty. So whoever is calling in on the GIRLS just to make sure especially the water is filled.

I will be overseas for two weeks from next Saturday. I know it is a big ask and may take 20minutes or so but if anybody is it school during that time and would like to help if they could put a little bit of water in the wine barrels along the walkways it would be very much appreciated. The only thing is that the tap and bucket is next to the olive tree in ‘Geoff’s Patch’ the chook area.

Sorry about all of the instructions but the only other thing is water on the olive tree with the net on it in Geoff’s Patch.

Thank you to those who have put your name down to help out looking after the chooks over the xmas break. I have the chooks on laying pellets now and they are eating them a lot quicker than the previous pellets they were on and also drinking a lot more water. I don’t know whether it is the warmer weather or the new pellets that is making them eat and drink a lot more. One of the food containers was nearly empty and one of the water containers was dry after only two days. So can I please ask you to make sure all of the containers are full, would hate for the food or water to run out. Also if you can please contact me if the pellets in container are getting low and I will organise to refill it and also if you have any questions.

I have the sprinklers on the veggies set for every second day for five minutes so if you happen to be around the veggies at 7.17am on the wrong day you might get a bit wet. You are more than welcome to any herbs or veggies that are growing in Geoff’s Patch. If you do get something out of the veggie boxes if you can just make sure you ‘hook’ the netting back on.
