The communication below was sent out today to the parents of 1D and 4A:
Dear families of 4A
I am writing to inform you that your children will have a new classroom teacher for the remainder of the year. Ms Anna Truszkowski will start in Year 4 on Monday, July 31. Anna recently arrived in Melbourne from Canada and is very excited about joining the SGP community. She visited the school today and is looking forward to her official start on Monday.
We thank Ms Dianne Gauci for her dedication and support of your children in helping them learn and grow while we searched for a suitable replacement. Ms. Gauci’s support and guidance of your children has been unwavering and we know her presence in the classroom will be missed. Ms Gauci will stay in 4A next week to support Anna’s transition into the year level and then will continue to work at SGP, moving back into her role as an intervention teacher. Thank you again Dianne for all of your ongoing support of the community’s needs.
Dear families of 1D
As you know, during Ms Jessica Terranova’s Long Service Leave, Ms Marian Kechenovic has been teaching your children. Ms Terranova will be finishing her LSL this week and will continue to stay at home for the remainder of the year as she prepares for the birth of her first child. We will remain in communication with Ms Terranova and will continue to provide support to her and her family.
We are excited to announce that Ms Kechenovic will remain as your child’s classroom teacher for the remainder of the year. Her consistency and continual building of relationships will support your child as they learn and grow throughout the school year. We thank Ms Kechenovic for taking on the responsibility of educating your children.
