We have received a lot of phone calls in the office this morning from parents requesting information about the specialists timetable. I know some of you have already put this information in your class story, but if you haven’t had the chance to do that yet, can you please let your families know which days are your specialist days asap.

Hi all

As there have been a few issues with the yard duty roster, I have attempted to fix all of the problems. I had hoped to start it next week but it appears that it is best if we start it from tomorrow. Please have a look as this roster will take effect tomorrow (Friday).

We have a limited number of new yard duty vests so if there are any staff who have misplaced their yard duty vest or have not received one yet (not including new staff starting 2024, I will bring them around to you this afternoon) please email me so I can make you a new one.
If there are any vests of staff who are no longer working here laying around, please return them to the office.

Good Morning All,

You should all have received an invitation to your 2024 Class Dojo class for the year. Just a couple of reminders, please post to the CLASS STORY – not the message stream. By using the Class Story stream, parents will be alerted via the app rather than by text message which has proved to be more reliable. Please make sure that you have your settings on your profile set to Melbourne Australia and that ‘quiet hours’ has been set as well as ‘muted notifications’ over the weekend.

As a reminder – quiet hours are from 4pm through to 8am. If you are new to the school, all of this has already set up for you.

Hi Everyone,

TheirCare, our new out of school hours care (OSHC) provider have now commenced services at St George Preca.

They are operating out of the Macpac everyday
Before School 7am to 8:40am
After School 3:30pm – 6:30pm
and will offer full day care services on Curriculum Days and school holidays.

Prep students will be walked to and collected from class in Semester 1. At the start of semester 2 it will be assessed and decided if still required.

If you have any students who are booked into after school care, please direct them to the Macpac.

Our Program Coordinator is Simone, she is going to send me an intro to send out on Skool Loop to families so I will forward to staff when it comes through. TheirCare staff will be wearing their uniform so they can be easily identified on school grounds. They’re here to work with us to ensure a smooth transition for our families, please make them feel welcome.

Please do not set the alarm if you are leaving while TheirCare staff are still on-site. If you are unsure, just check the Macpac.
