What happens if my child needs to take medicine during the day?

At SGP we have a school nurse on site 5 days a week. Michelle Potter, is a registered nurse.

Please ensure you have provided a list of all medical conditions on your child’s enrollment including hayfever.

Ensure any student with Asthma, Anaphylaxis or Allergies have an action plan  and  medication available at school on day 1 in 2024.

Students with specialised health conditions will also require a Management plan (and medication if needed) supplied to school on day 1 in 2024.

Any other medication that needs to be administered during the school day needs to be supplied to first aid along with a Medication Authority Form and Management Plan . Please note these need to be completed and signed off by an authorized medical/health practitioner who is AHPRA registered. These include specialists, GP’s and Pharmacist.

These documents are located under policies & procedures on the schools public website or a hard copy is located in the main office.
