Steph is our new Admin Trainee and started her 12 month traineeship in Business Admin with us yesterday.

Good afternoon all,

I have noticed with some of the afternoon rolls that students who have left early are getting marked as a whole afternoon absence.
If a student leaves school before 1:35pm it is a whole afternoon absence but if the student has left after 1:35pm it is considered an early dismissal.
There is a drop down box next to each student where you can select the time the student left and this will change “present” to “Early departure from school”

Reminder: Afternoon rolls MUST be marked once you bring the students back in from second break.

Tomorrow I will be putting some zucchini, squash and some nice tomatoes in the lunch room for a donation. They will be there for a few days and the jar will be on the bench for your money. I also have some fresh herbs for a donation but will only cut them if you order them so they are not wasted so contact me if you would like any. At the moment I have some Basil, Rosemary, Garlic Chives, Sage and Tarragon and Chives.

Please be aware

The door opposite the planning room / tea area is currently broken and must not be opened.

It has been temporarily adjusted so it can close but it CAN NOT be moved until it is fixed properly otherwise the building will not be secure over the weekend.

The technician should be here Monday to fix it

Please be aware that your usernames when logging into Nforma are now your Google Username minus the @stgeorgepreca.catholic.edu.au

I’ve just sent password reset links out to those teachers who weren’t able to make the 2 hour window for changing their password the other day. Please make sure that this is done this morning before you mark the roll.

Good afternoon all,

For those of you who were able to get on to nForma today, you would have noticed it looks a bit different.
Please make sure you refer to the user guide that was posted on the Staff Desktop yesterday as I noticed there were a few errors today with the late arrivals/early dismissals. Eg: Students being marked absent for the whole afternoon when they were only picked up 30mins before school finishing time.

Also a reminder that the afternoon rolls MUST be marked when the students return from second break. This is really important as it is a Legal requirement and will show up on the students reports as an unexplained afternoon absence if not marked.

I understand the new update will take sometime to get use to, but if you need help with anything please let me know.
