Recently, I had another copy printed and have put it in the staff room in case anyone would like to have a look through to reflect on Jim’s time with us @ SGP.

Reggie and I would like to audit our school R.E. resources to see what we have, what we need and what we no longer need. If you find any school R.E. resource as you pack your classes up for the summer next week, could you please leave them (safely!) in the R.E. office? This includes Bibles, TKWL books, anything that belongs to the school.

Some details for our much anticipated Christmas concert!
School gates open at 5pm
Bring your picnic blanket, food/snacks and drinks – note: this is an alcohol free event. Please, where possible, take your rubbish home with you.
Items available to purchase are:
Sausage in bread $3 each or 2 for $5
Various soft drinks and water $3 each or 2 for $5
Zooper Dooper Icy Poles $1 each
Please bring cash for the above items.
There will also be an Ice cream truck and a Coffee truck with options available for purchase.
We will create sections for viewing. Picnic blankets can be placed toward the front of the stage. If you prefer to bring chairs, you are welcome to do so, there will be an allocated area for you to place the chairs further back so as not to restrict the view of those on picnic blankets.
From 5:00 until 6:15pm children are to be supervised by their parents
At 6:15pm students will be called to gather at their classrooms, they will remain with their teachers and classmates until the end of the concert and be dismissed from the teacher.
The concert will begin at 6:30pm and run until approximately 8:30pm
There will be portable toilets onsite for everyone to use, school toilets will be closed.

The 2024 Calendar of Dates has been published to the staff desktop and sent out to families on Skool Loop with the following note.

Use this document to note curriculum/student free days and events in place for the 2024 school year.
It’s important to note, there may be additions as new events come up throughout the year or changes as required.
We will continue to publish and update the ‘Dates to Remember’ as updates become available throughout the term.

//I have some unfortunate news regarding the chooks. There were two foxes spotted running through the school grounds this morning. So this means that the girls will not have the great freedom that they have always had and they will have to be locked up all day. If a teacher does go in the area please very mindful of the fox situation if you do want to let them out. But you MUST make sure they are locked away before you leave and be wary to keep a look out just in case while you are in the area.
You don’t want to be the person to say we are now missing any chooks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On Friday, families were sent a message on Skooloop asking them to contribute a small amount (not exceeding $10) towards the Christmas markets, with any profits raised to be passed on to the ASRC. All level leaders will be given 2 labelled boxes for the year level to collect money over the course of this week. Please send money to the office if you do collect any, each day.
Please note: Parents were also given the option to donate via CDF pay or via the office too.

You would have received a new form today for the PERSONAL PURCHASE of any Staff Uniform Order. This form is to be completed if YOU wish to purchase any additional items of the clothing currently on display in the staffroom.
If you have completed the 2024 Staff Uniform Order that was sent the other day, you don’t need to do anything else regarding this matter. We already have this order 🙂
