Writing 

Learning Intention:We are learning to use our senses to record our ideas.

Teacher Video: Mr Said revises what adjectives are and helps brainstorm some that you can use in your writing.

Task

  • Write the title “5 Senses Writing” and the date
  • Take out your cup of jelly or look at Mr Said’s jelly and draw it in your book.
  • Use your senses (see, hear, feel, smell, taste) to write sentences describing the jelly.


Mathematics

Learning Intention: We are learning to state how many groups there are.

Warm up: Roll a dice twice, add them together.

What you need: Counters, eg. lego, paper clips, dry pasta, blocks.

Teacher Video: Watch Miss Toro’s Video and let’s start the task together.

Miss Toro bought a bag of lollies and it had 24 lollies. 

  1. On Tuesday there are 6 students, how many lollies do they get each?
  2. Can you find a more efficient way to share them?
